Heritage Saskatchewan's Annual Report for 2009
At its inaugural Annual General Meeting, held February 20, 2010, delegates voted in Heritage Saskatchewan's first elected Board of Directors.
"This new board, the first one elected by our members, has a wonderful opportunity in the next year to really establish Heritage Saskatchewan as the collective voice of all those who value heritage in Saskatchewan" said newly re-elected President Kristin Enns-Kavanagh. "The opportunities to engage all the different aspects of what we view as heritage and to try to ingrain the importance of heritage in the public's collective memory are just waiting for us."
Heritage Saskatchewan's new Board of Directors is made up of the following individuals:

"The 71 voting delegates also voted to ratify Heritage Saskatchewan's constitution so as to confirm Heritage Saskatchewan is on the right track" stated Ken Alecxe, Heritage Saskatchewan's CEO. "We've developed a mechanism that will increase the collaboration among heritage organizations and those individuals who value heritage and would like to preserve our unique heritage for generations to come."

Saturday's Forum was attended by 114 registrants while the Heritage Saskatchewan Annual General Meeting had 71 voting delegates (35 individual members voting and 36 organizational votes)

Heritage Sask AGM and Forum 2010
Heritage Saskatchewan, the new collective voice of all those who value heritage in Saskatchewan will stage its inaugural Heritage Sask Forum and Annual General Meeting at Saskatoon's Delta Bessborough, February 19th & 20th, 2010.
The theme of the 2010 Heritage Sask Forum is "Growing Communities". Heritage Sask's inaugural Annual General Meeting will take place as part of the Forum on February 20th.
His Honour, the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, Dr. Gordon Barnhart is confirmed to attend and bring greetings at the Opening Ceremonies Friday evening and Arthur Black (AKA CBC's Basic Black) has been confirmed as Friday evening's Keynote Speaker.
Saskatchewan's Minister responsible for Heritage, The Honourable Dustin Duncan, will attend and bring greetings to the delegates on Saturday. Saturday's agenda also include two panel presentations, each with a speaker and three panelists. The chosen panel topics will ensure a lively discussion amongst the panelists and Forum delegates too; they include:
- Opening the Doors to Heritage
o How are we making heritage accessible to help grow communities in Saskatchewan?
- Building Bridges to Develop Community
o What is the state of the three levels of governments as it relates to heritage legislation and programming; and in what direction are they going?
The 2010 Heritage Sask Forum will also include a Tradeshow featuring heritage partners, organizations and businesses that have heritage as a key focus. The Tradeshow will be available to Forum delegates Friday evening through to Saturday afternoon.
