Heritage Saskatchewan Data Bases

Purpose

The “Heritage Data Base” will address the following elements of Heritage data base development:

• Identify current Heritage data bases, including their intent, output, delivery, and target group for accessibility;
• Assess the issues and opportunities, particularly in data base development, delivery, accessibility, data analysis and reporting;
• Identify the “state of the art” in other jurisdictions, including best practices outside of Canada, that could apply to the Saskatchewan situation;
• Determine whether there are any gaps in Heritage data base development, interpretation and access;
• Develop recommendations for a two-year plan of action to take advantage of key opportunities for collaboration.
